About Heroes United

Heroes United is a nonprofit organization, which provides social reintegration to veterans across the United States of America. The organization was founded by individuals, who have both the practical experience and the education to lead the organization. Heroes United aims to ensure veterans are afforded transitional housing and are engaged in life skill training for stability and growth. It offers assistance to veterans, frequently homeless and whom may be suffering through mental instabilities, as they move from dependent, often negative conditions into independent lifestyles while matriculating through our program. Additionally, it assists them in having a social reunification within society. This is particularly important as a majority of the veterans express having social anxieties. This is the only post service veterans rehabilitative and long-term transitional housing center. The staff is experienced veteran mental health counselors, New York State certified program coordinators, and family reunification counselors, who are ready to assist with a wealth of services support related aid.
